About RMBC

RMBC/Tyler is:  “Like a Mustard Seed”

“He [Jesus] told them another parable: "The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and planted in his field. 32 Though it is the smallest of all your seeds, yet when it grows, it is the largest of garden plants and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and perch in its branches." [Matthew 13:31]

We strive to fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission by Leading People to Love God, Love One Another and to Serve God and our Community in Christian Love.

Five years ago God planted a seed when He, in His awesome wisdom, brought two bodies of Christ together to form the Riverside Mandarin/Tyler Baptist Church.  They were two bodies, two cultures, and two languages, united to become one Body to the glory of God.  One body, Tyler Baptist Church had been born in 1962, the other, Riverside Mandarin Baptist Church was much younger being born in Sister Jean Ding’s home in 1990.  God knew that these two bodies had their individual needs and He knew by uniting them He could resolve those needs.

The Lord has truly blessed this little “Mustard Seed.”  We stand in awe as we watch the magnificent work of God as He continues to mold these two bodies into one for the purpose of reaching the Chinese community in the greater Riverside area.

RMBC/Tyler is affiliated with the Southern Baptist National and State Conventions and the Inland Empire Association of Southern Baptist Churches.

Our doors are open to all who are seeking to know, love and serve the Lord.
